My Testimony Praise God! Dear KC Family, Thanks a bunch for all the prayers offered for my dad (Mr. StanleyFernandes) and my family. Due to the prayers of so many there was amiracle. I find no words to express my gratitude to my Jesus who has been sogood to me all the time. The load of petroleum in the tank is notlost, only a 1000 ltrs was lost which would cost around Rs.40,000/-.If all of the load was lost then we would have to pay approximatelyRs.7.5 lakhs then to arrange for the money we would have to sell ourhouse, which was built just 2 years back with lots of hopes anddreams. The Lord has been graceful to us. The insurance people andBharat Petroleum officers and others who inspected the spot said thatactually the vehicle rolled over three times and fell down 37 mtrs below and so it should have been into pieces and all the load should have been lost but its really a miracle that the vehicle also was not much damaged nor the load of petroleum was lost as expected. Even the driver and cleaner were safe. When my dad heard about the accident my dad was totally shattered andhe seemed to be totally broken. At first I was also a bit shaken andI asked the Lord whats happening, since there were so many problemsone after the other, when we were just recovering from one blow therewas another. But immediately I asked the Lord's pardon and we allstarted praising Him and thanking Him because I felt strongly withinmyself that there is something good going to happen and that Jesuswas still in control. I also prayed that let this be a witness toothers and it was. The people who inspected the place they wereasking my dad, " Are you a devotee of God?" Also some of my dad'sfriends who accompanied him to that spot they were also surprised andit helped them to increase their faith in Jesus. When I called up toenquire about what was happening Clifford uncle (dad's friend) hetold me "I am sure its only prayers of so many that everything isfine." When he returned home he was calling up and telling othersalso about that. ( I had informed them that the KC members and otherswere praying for us). On the 2nd day after the accident (nothing was fine yet) at the timeof my personal prayer, I felt a kind of joy in my soul despite allthe tension and worries in mind. I knew that after this storm therewould be a great calm coz Jesus was in the boat. Moreover my dad was also not that fine, he cannot travel much or gowithout sleep. But he had to go to that spot where the vehicle hadmet with accident. And despite such heavy rains and bad weather, hewas absolutely fine when he returned home after 3 days. That wasagain a miracle I can say. As brother Arun said, "In times of hardship and tension, our faith inHim deepens." And truly due to this trial our faith in Him hasdeepened. "He's still working on me,to make me what I ought to be" Thank you Jesus, truly our God is an Awesome God!
